The final knot in the hanging rope .
I had been getting lazy with my posts haven't I? But then actually, when was I not ...
Idk, short random posts are becoming more of my style right now , especially posts which does not require any photos. I think I have been complaining about the process of transferring photos for like 5 years now . (Suddenly remembers that I started my blog in primary 5 and it's so lame I cry.)
So here's the March roundup.
01/03` Tuanbai
CNY day idk what. wait, this was supposed to be in February isn't it? (oh it's not)
Joonhoong kor joined after Ningxia jie left so there wasn't any photos with him in it .
The number of houses we visit seems to be decreasing with the years. And this is the first Tuanbai that sis and I attended without our parents , sobs .
First stop supposed to be meeting at zhongxin but most of us were late so we headed straight to nx house for breakfast . Nua-ed for an hour plus because we all were unmotivated to move , and then it's yijuan ahyi's place > ruirong kor's parents' house > aishi jie's place > huiyi jie's mum's place (which our car skipped since we had to drop off nx and fetch jh) > kimpo's house and that's it . I think we spend too much time at each station , that's why .
04/03` Random school days
I don't even know why these pictures are in my blogger folder . This was just basically us flipping out over this grasshopper on the window beside me . I was trying to protect myself with my file and we were super fidgety throughout . That was seriously the longest bus ride ever and no one else noticed beside us . Idk if you can see it but it's right at the top . I wouldn't have noticed if xinyun hadn't pointed it out to me either . IGNORANCE IS BLISS SOMETIMES MY DEAR XY .

05/03 ` Girls' day
(I just realised I didn't add in dates for everything above , oh bother . pfft now I have to go back up . > update , I'm now mad because they're not in chronological order but I find it too much work to rearrange the two on top so I shall just remain angry with myself .)
Had midterms the next day so didn't stay till dinner . Tried nookie with the girls , idk , i no expert on yoghurt , please ask someone else for a review . BUT , still better than honey creme definitely , that was the worse out of all the yoghurts/sweet treats I'd tried (which isn't alot but still ...)
07/03` NTU Open house
*cough* kezia says the girl behind her is her tuition friend and she was trying to pretend that she didn't see/recognize lol
Sigh , NUS had always been my dream school since like idk , primary school? Until it actually came to the time we had to choose . I really wanted to go NTU because my sister and most of my bffs are there , and I learnt the hard lesson of life without bffs in jc . But then , only NUS has social work so yes , I'm currently living another round of regrets . Why do you always make me pit future vs. friends T.T

28/03` Swimming
Have I ever mentioned before that I really adore swimming ? I think I did right , when I was in Odac and was desperate to be the water pt ic or smth . But anyway , I made a resolution to go swim at least fortnightly , as a way to calm myself , plus it's good exercise . Looking at this picture makes me want to go swimming right now which is not a good idea seeing that my next class is in two hours time , oh boo . (Yes , I was blogging in school lmao)
02/04` Class girls meetup (oh look I'm in April)
As much as I love iphone cameras , the sizes are so awkward omg . And I'm a nice person because I removed their unglams , yay for me .

Life rn basically . Week 12 is extra hell because it's one week before the last week where all the lectures wrap everything up and all deadlines are due . Korean oral was last Wednesday (which I screwed up so badly , no joke) , Korean presentation this Wednesday , linguistics research paper due on Thursday , linguistics tutorial presentation on Thursday , social work 12page assignment due next Tuesday and then Korean finals next friday . Plus there's bandao at my house this Friday and I had to go up cause siewying ahyi isn't free , someone save me . Oh and tri-gen training on Saturday too omg what did I sign up for . But okay , I will probably pull through , i think ...
Not totally related but I realised I have this skill to look super relaxed because my friends always ask me why the mods I take like don't need do anything one , THAT'S BECAUSE I DIE INSIDE OMG .
On an even more unrelated note , I'm learning 사투리 now which is basically korean dialect which is interesting as heck . I love accents and dialects no matter in which language. (which is why I secretly like my own malaysian accent lmao) And that might also be why it's practically impossible to google translate my korean because half of the time , it's in slang and dialects . Googling it by itself might work tho , idk . But seriously , it's hella cool , I wish I could take hokkien , canto and 사투리 lessons as like actual modules because I'll be totally interested in it .
And this is the phrase I use the most (the second part after the arrow is in 사투리)
뭐라고? -> 뭐/머라카노
mwo la go? -> mwo/moh la ka noh?
and it basically means like "what?"
Idk , it just makes you sound ten times more indignant and offended when you say it in 사투리 . Ask me and I might say it for you LOL . I realised I automatically frown whenever I say it in 사투리 , LMAOOO . Probably just me , okay . But it is establish that it is actually a little rude to say to others .
와이라노 is another fave , to me it translate as like why like that . Okay tbh idk what is the actual translation but it means something along those lines .
I actually use 오또카지 the most but it isn't a dialect , it's actually 어떡하지 but in act cute form created by Ken and because that was how I got to know that phrase so it stuck . It means What do I do ? or What to do ? And it's act cute because it's like all very high tone ? shit , i learnt this in linguistics , what is this . It's all aspirated ? idk ?
And I'm suddenly talking about this because the song I'm replaying (for the fortieth time now omg) is sang in 사투리 and that's beautiful man . (I'll change it now before I officially get sick of it .)
