Another go.

Happy Chinese New Year Everybody ! :-*
It's currently 3.30pm and I'm alone at home because the fam went to ahyi's house to help her shou tan . This is the first year I had successfully shou tan ? Okay first , what is that . On the first day of cny , after praying at 11pm (the chinese equivalent of a new day = 12am) , if your house is a fotang , you have to keep the incense burning till 5pm , meaning at least one person has to be up at all time in between , since sometimes the flame goes out and stuffs . The past years , my dad had always been the one who had to tank through the whole thing himself until mum wake at like 8/9am before he can rest . So this two years , sister and I took over ! Seriously impressed with how yeowwee had been doing it for his family for like at least 7 years straight by himself . So mum took over me from 8am to 12.30pm and now it's back to me now !

 So what have I been doing all these hours I had been up ?
Karaoke party basically and learning dance lmao .
I seriously am so bad at learning dances from video . Like what I can learn in ten minutes irl , I have to take like at least 45min if I'm learning it through a video . Like idk but I can't process the tempo and differentiate my left and right from a video regardless of whether it is a mirror version or not #noob 

 So, so happy for this cny break and recess week tho , been waiting for this for such a longgggg time . Especially since I won't get a summer break , this break is extremely precious to me !

 Okay idk why I became so chatty and descriptive up there . Allow me to revert back to my old self and introduce the pictures for february happenings .

Because we are flipping indecisive , quality hotel buffet was fully booked and we ended up just having pizzas . Oily as heck tho .


Missing yongjun , ningxia , huimin ,huishi , yuefeng , yuanseng , weide kor and fam . Don't think I missed out anyone else . always grateful to fy jie for hosting and allowing us to intrude on her rare resting time at home .

why do we always have family talks lmao . I think it's funny when people come to our house and look uncomfortable about how my family talks about everything every second . We debate about every single shit .
18/02` Chinese New Year Eve

My fam is so blessed to have me providing good food for them .


Steamboat looking more and more pathetic year after year as the amount of people eating decreases and the amount of food we want to eat decrease too . Like I hate the veg sausages and fishball so much , it's gross as hell so each year , i basically just eat the eggs , vermicelli (is this how you spell it or is this a diff word entirely)  and the veg hence my mum also starts buying lesser and lesser each year lmao . White rice is bae tho .


Annual comparisons between the clique hence i might as well post theirs too . jmjh fam one looking the most awesome since they have more people and are bigger eaters . Sigh , i miss those days where we invite other people to eat with us , it taste nicer with more people . Was gonna ask uncle wong over but since he had to help at zhongxin so he couldn't come over .


Seriously , cny day 1 trains my butt muscles so much , had no idea how we can kneel through 800 kou during camp tbh D:

how do you adjudst the brightness of the picture without heavily contrasting it because i tried exposure , hdr , everything and this was the best i could do T.T anyone else uses redmi please teach me , the colours look pretty nice in this photo but it hurts the eye after looking at his photos for long . And if I take away the high contrast , the picture is way duller than mine .
