So around two weeks ago , I was able to check another wish off my bucketlist . 
I ATTENDED YG FAMILY CONCERT: POWER IN SINGAPORE 2014 !!!


Before this year , I had never attended a single concert in my 18 plus years of life . But still , I know it's a little overboard going to 3 concerts in a year . I feel crazy also and tbh , I regretted going for the cnblue one . But the Taylorswift one was SO GOOD and this YG Fam one was THE BEST .  
The dumbest thing was , I ain't even a YG stan . In fact , I might actually support FNC/SM more than I do YG (I don't stan companies) . But what I thought was , TOP is already 27 (28 korean age) and he REALLYREALLY have to enlist soon and I doubt they will hold a world tour before that . So it's sort of my last chance to see bigbang live and I didn't have the confidence that I would still like them by the time the whole group was out from army . By then I would be 25/26? Or even older?
It was definitely not a chance I want to take , and I sure am glad I didn't miss it !

Started planning to go for this with Jaye the moment ticket sales came out . By far the craziest decision we ever made man . When she took me up on my suggestion and said she would come to SG for it , I thought she was joking . Once again , I was working when tickets came out (like for the previous two concerts) and my sister kindly (but reluctantly) helped us bought the tickets ! But when I come home , I seriously wanted to cry because she bought the left side tickets when I specifically requested for the right because she was thinking in the stage down orientation . LIKE WHO THE HELL ORDER TICKETS IN THE STAGE DOWN ORIENTATION .



I wanted CAT 1 standing on the right because bigbang is like my favouriteeeeee group and I wanted to have a chance to really see them up close and my bias , kangdaesung almost always stand on the right . (kpop group have like this semi-fixed formation) Unlike for taylor , I love her for her music only (ok i think she pretty as hell too) so I didn't mind even if I got the last cat.
And then , just one day before they come to SG , Seungri got into an accident on Friday morning and we had to deal with the news that he had to be admitted into the hospital and won't be coming . Imagine my sadness please , he's my second bias and idk to be more sad for him or for me . 
And to top it off , zhanghua planned a Malaysia trip to Kulai on the same weekend so I had to miss that T.T Joonmeng told me he was supposed to be the usher for the concert but he gave it up for the trip . My mum kept telling me to sell my tickets too , but I was like no , no nooooooooo . Plus somemore , it's not like I can just pangseh Bilian right . So there was no one at home except me , my data for the month exploded , AND MY HOME MODEM DECIDED TO FAIL ON ME . I couldn't go on the net , my home line was down , even when I wanted to watch miotv to comfort myself , it was down . You had no idea how much of a mental breakdown I had at that time . I was un-contactable , we haven't set a meeting time for the next day yet . I was at a loss who I could text to save me , I thought of Xinyun but she was mourning over her tablet at that time , I thought of Jiaee but she was mugging at Macs at the time , I just couldn't think of anyone until I remembered my ever trustworthy boyf CHEEMUNYEENG . So she helped me whatsapp Jaye and help us settle the details , and without even a second of hesitation . Like everytime I send her things like "OMG HELP" , she will reply immediately "WHAT HAPPENED? HOW CAN I HELP YOU?" and she had never killed me for replying her an average of twenty days later HAHAHAHAHAH #truefriend



So the queue actually starts at 1.30pm but we met at 10.30 at Gombak because she had to reach early to get her EpikHigh banners . 


Warning: we took a crazy amount of photos because we dk when we will ever meet again T.T It's creepy how we weren't awkward like AT ALL. Like we just started talking non-stop from the moment we meet . Must be that one year of talking too much shit .
Jaye is actually my polar opposite in so many way , yet we share so much similarities and I feel like our family background around the same too . < one thing I realised is very important for a person to be able to click with me . So she got one banner for me too because she dared to ask the person unlike me the wimp . WE DIDN'T GET THE DAE FAN THO SOBS .
Saw this Samsung booth on the second storey and this guy working there told us that if we joined the queue and completed 3 stations , we get 3 random free badges !!! Obviously we join right .

Meanwhile at the side of the queue , there's this guy who's giving out free soundcheck passes , five at a time . And I'm the type of person who is dying to get but wouldn't raise my hands for anything because I'm sure I won't be chosen or I sure get the wrong answer . Bilian on the other hand just got out of the queue altogether and just chionged in front . In fact she got chosen to answer the question "When was Winner formed?" or something like that and she answered 2014 and everyone else was surprised when the guy said she was wrong . Because apparently he said FORMED not DEBUT . Tsk . So I went into the stations to get the badges for us while she continued trying and trying because her determination is number one seriously .


Seriously tho , buy the Galaxy S5 , my picture like clear enough already , theirs like twice as clear . So while I was trying to listen and complete the stations , Jaye suddenly started waving crazily and SERIOUSLY , THIS WOMAN ACTUALLY GOT HER HANDS ON TWO PASSES , I CAN'T BELIEVE HER .
So as usual , being the wimp I was , I didn't dare to just leave the booth so I awkwardly stood inside . So she just came into the rescue again and just shout inside , "Uhm excuse me , we need to go now . Can she continue this later."



IT WAS A SUPER DUPER WUPER CLEAR VIEW . 



I risked my life for this shit man , the security was super tight . Singapore Inddor Stadium came up with this ridiculous rule where filming is not allowed , even with phone camera . You had no idea how mad everyone was . WTH , how good quality did you expect our phones to get , it's not like we brought in a DSLR pls . The girl behind me almost got her phone taken away , she clung on to it . The security were annoying as hell . But still , I managed to get good shots so I'm happy !
I only got youngbae and more youngbae because number one , he was the only one who got super close to the edge of the stage and the centre . Number two , I just stared at daesung with my mouth hanging open in awe when he stood in front of us . At that moment , tears came to my eyes , you know that feeling when your dreams were fulfilled ? HIS HAIR WAS SUPER FLUFFY , I never truly understood when people said that but after seeing it for myself , OMG . The bottom one was MINOOOOOOO ! seungyoon , dara and gdragon ! ft. TOP's face on screen . 


So they played three songs , 2NE1'S Go Away , Bigbang's Fantastic Baby and Psy's Gangnam Style . 


Then we had to leave for those holding the rehearsal passes to enter . But Winner was sitting on the stage to get ready , HOW DO THEY EXPECT US TO LEAVE WHEN THEY'RE STILL THERE . So Winner being the rookies they are didn't dare to say anything and just sat there and waited for us while we stubbornly continued standing there and screaming . So taeyang decided to take matter into his own hands and started shooing us out by singing backstage "Get out ~~ Get out now , byebye . Pleaseee ~ Get out ! But I love youuuuu ~" to a random tune he made up on the spot . And ofcourse that didn't help because by that time everyone was laughing and even more determined to stay . Until the security got nasty and started blowing whistles and physically guiding people out HAHH

We were like sweating and tired already after coming out from the soundcheck party . And the concert haven't even started .  
A random stranger passed us TOP's banner ! YAYAYYYYYY


Waited a while and finallyyyyyyyyy we got to go in ! Our queue number were 111 and 112 but because of latecomers and noshows , we got in like around 60-80th ! 




So we were lucky to get awesome spots , right behind the barricade !

The concert was so awesome , I don't even know what to say . I was so close and could see every single expression they made , Ji rolled his eyes and smirked at yb because during Feelings , the other three of bigbang gathered in the centre for their group formation for the dance while yb just simply couldn't give a shit and walked to the side to sing to the fans HAHAHAH 

Was so lucky my sister bought the wrong side because I somehow coincidentally stood with like at least 8 other dae stan , AND DAE NOTICED OUR SMALL DAE CORNER admidst all the gd top taeyang fans <3 At the start when he was doing Ugly with seungyoon , he was at the right as usual , but during sy's part , bless him he walked to the right so dae walked over to the left ! Then he was just randomly looking around before he suddenly noticed my phone with his name and the two girl in front of me holding his shirt and he grinned at us AWWWWWW . And he made sure to make eyecontact with everyone of us , and kept coming over after that ! Thankyou for helping me fulfill my promise to get footage for people HAHAHAH . Eyecontact with Minzy who kept staying at our side too , and taeyang or maybe not because his eyes were really small and I couldn't really tell . 
GDRAGON THREW A SHIRT SUPER NEAR ME OMG AND I DIDN'T GET IT . but he wasn't really throwing it in my direction anyway , sighpie . 


Was feeling awkward for epikhigh segment since I totally don't listen to their songs after they joined YG . I only knew One and Falling which are pretty old ? I don't even know . Tablo's english is great as expected , they were hilarious , asking all of us to follow them on twitter . DJ Tt was like "Do y'all have twitter? Follow me , follow me , follow me!" Then Mithra "Do y'all have twitter? Follow me @____" Then Tablo was like "I know you got asked this question alot of times but do y'all have twitter? Follow me @blobyblo" (HAHAH I ONLY KNEW HIS OPPS.)

Tbh , was quite annoyed with Psy because of his constant guilt-trips attempt . When he came out , everyone was cheering equally loudly but he kept on and on saying things like , "Don't need to scream and pretend you know this song , I know you'd never heard of it." or  "I know you only know 2 of my songs." etcetc . While everyone was trying our hardest to scream , shout , some shouted "I know 3/4 songs!" but he just kept being negative so afterthat it was quite annoying . Champion was good tho and Father made tear came to my eyes but ugh , bad impression . His english was awesome tho , due to his time spent overseas .



2NE1 were pretty as hell , but apart from Minzy , the rest like didn't like to come to our side , especially Bommmmm , because our area kept screaming and screaming for her but she just waved and walked past everytime ): 


Winner was cute I guess because they didn't look very natural yet . MINO THO ADHCVBEUIVWEKNIWDJCIJ. So much Winner feels right now because I'm currently watching Mix&Match and rewatching WIN and WINNERTV WHY I NOW THEN REALLY LIKE THEM . Bigbang was awesome , no words for them honestly . But after the concert , bilian was like asking me , "Is TOP in a bad mood or what?" and I think it's our fault whoops . He keep giving poker face whenever he come to our segment because we were all dae stans but all of us had his banner . So everytime he come , we will scream for him and wave his banner , but when dae comes over , everyone abort mission and go crazy and switch our banners . okay la , actually I just finding excuse for him , because there were tons and tons of top stans behind us ok . I think he just feeling abit sian , he was pretty high at the end tho ! Taeyang ws the best because he kept posing for us , walking to every corner of the stage <3 gd didn't hang around our area alot too , except for the shirt throwing time . But seeing daesung in the flesh really ... I WANT TO GO TO ANOTHER CONCERT AND SEE HIM AGAIN .

Chilled outside NTUC because we were too thirsty. Failed meetup with Kristen because i think she accidentally on purpose missed my messages because she felt too awkward? Shar refused a photo with us too, seriously the two of us like v rejected. Should have contacted Nia because i think she was one of those who genuinely wants to meet.. so it was a failed insta meetup. So me and j took photos ourselves HAHAH

But seriously super worth it , in fact if time rewind , I'm willing to go for two days man . So much concert withdrawal , yg fam con is really one you can't miss !
