WEIRD XH FACT #013; I ate like a bite of chicken(?) before and that taste stayed in my mouth for like one whole month because guilt.

180514 is a special day because , it's Taeyang's birthday ! HAHAHAH I keed , it was my uncle's wedding ! Really really glad for this chance to go back to Malaysia , desperately needed this respite since a long time ago . I think the last time I visited was during the June holidays when I was in J1? So I haven't visited in 1 year plus , and I haven't even seen my youngest cousin and my uncle's fiancee before , like whuttttt .

Because I'm always embarrassed and feel guilty to take leave , I ended up working till Friday half day to go in Malaysia with dad when mummy and jiejie already went on Wednesday . *jealous* Reached Larkin Terminal at around 3.50pm ? My favourite KKKL tickets were already sold out and the next bus is at like 5.30pm . So we ended up going back to Mayang Sari which had a bus leaving at 4pm . Surprisingly , the bus was awesome *.* I think we got really lucky to get the best bus they had because the seats are so comfy and wide and it's so clean . <3 And I know we were lucky because my sister complained that hers wasn't good , hahahah bad luck for them .



Happy because good bus !

wth , this two idiotic colleagues of mine decided to quit on that one week that I had to go msia and couldn't work so I couldn't even spend their last day working with them )': You can't believe how sad I was and how sad I am still , now I really dk how long more I can stick around with all the lovely people I depend on gone . I used to look forward to Fridays so much , going up to sign in and the upstairs concierge table will be the first place I look , to see if Alvin is working and to laugh at his standard sad face ; then going downstairs to start work and finding pearlyn at the door . Life already sucked after my favourite valets were gone , now my two bestfriends are gone too ?!
Luckily I still had Yunqian but okay abit lame cause we almost never meet since we work different time , but YAY ! She adjusting her Friday schedule to accompany me now !

So because I had the house alone to myself for the two days mum and sis were overseas and dad working night shifts , I became alil self obsessed and zilian so hooray , you get to see my face more ! (whut , don't puke thanks) Not even joking here , I used to have like at most 1 selfie , but now I have like more than 10 in my phone . #ilovemyself

Reached in a crazily short time , just 1 hours 50 minutes ! :o It used to take like 3 hours or 2 and a half . (Ps. Vincent is now playing taylor swift songs and I'm feeling rather sad because it reminded me that I can't go to my idol's concert T.T)


Hahah , the first picture actually looks like we're in some park . This road gives me so much feels , yes even road can give xinhui feels -claps- . It's like the feeling of going back home after a long tiring trip , like you can finally put everything down , and I always feel really relaxed and relieved the moment I step down the bus . Except for the only worry about how many dogs I'm gonna have to face this time ): And yes , my extreme dog phobia came from one of the dogs at grandma house , I think that dog is dead already though .

Finally got to see my soon-to-be-aunt and my youngest cousin who is idk how many months old for the first time !

Okay nvm , soooo nothing much happened since we reached at 6pm . Cousins (Dayi family) arrived from Singapore at around 11pm/12pm ? So initially there were still ample sleeping places even though the guys ended up in the living room , but BAM , surprise early arrival of third and fourth aunt.



 I like how black the sky looks without streetlights everywhere . So yes , the black patch of sky is the purpose of the picture , HAHAH .
So it gets dark earlier , yet everyday felt longer probably cause we aren't pressed for time and rushing around being stressed over something . It's nice to go to auntie's house (in the background) and sit on the swings at any time of the day, just sitting there and thinking about life *actyige mode on* but really , you cannot imagine how carefree I feel everytime I go back ! So everytime people ask , where do you want to migrate to ? I will answer MALAYSIA .

This puppy is superrrrr cute ! Not like the other puppy which actually bites. And this mother dog is really an ass , keeps stealing whatever food we try to throw to the pup . Super hilarious  tho , cheryao trying to ninja throw some to the pup while the mother dog get chased away .

OKAY END OF DAY 1 (Friday)

Got awaken freakingggggg early in the morning at around 9am? And this time grandma actually pinched me to wake me up, ouch. considering that everyone slept at 2am , no idea what's wrong with this household srs .

Rotting at home with nothing to do , and with so many in the house , everyone started becoming restless . So we pestered and annoyed fourth uncle and eldest cousin , weiqiang , who drove everyone out ! And initially I was saying I dontwant to go . So my last uncle (the one getting married) asked why and I said no money go for what . So he just took out 100RM from his wallet and passed it to us ! YAYYYYYYY


Only picture from the shopping trip is of this hedgehog in the pet shop . ROFL . Ended up only spending on food and weiqiang treated me my bbt so we actually spent on nothing HAHAH
Short trip because we actually wasn't supposed to go out since it's a busy day and we were supposed to be helping , opps :p Grandpa death anniversary in the afternoon , and buffet at night for pre-wedding celebration . More arrivals , Dajiu family came in the afternoon .



Okay , I know you can't really see shit from those pictures because I can't too but that was me trying to capture the store-bought fireworks which weiyi set off but stupidly didn't give us warning so nobody got a decent picture or recording .



Firecrackers at midnight because we like to annoy our neighbours like that . HAHAH no la , I also dk why must put at midnight one . anyway , aunty is used to the noise we make everytime we got celebrations HAHAH . she always ask me , "whose birthday isit this time ? I could hear the birthday song from here." I think they actually quite suey to be our neighbours but we're the luckiest because they are the best people and best neighbours everrrrr !

Super last minute grocery shopping with my favourite fourth uncle and wife , like really last minute since we were getting stuffs for the wedding which was the next morning ... But we have a yolo attitude yo , must be where I get that from .
In the car , uncle randomly asked me if I want to tag along tomorrow , and my uncle who was getting married also asked me to tag along beforehand but I didn't dare to say yes because Idk if I was allowed to with all the various superstitions and stuffs . So went back , asked permission from 表aunt (sorry idk the English version of this r/s HAHAHAH) and yay approved !

And it rained that night and if you lived in more kampong style area in msia , you will know that rain=bad news . Let me show you but if you get creep out easily , scroll past quickly or go away .



I'm so grossed out myself that I decided to spare you and myself by putting the picture in a smaller size , you're welcomed .
Seriously tho , this was the worst it had ever gotten , even those who stayed in msia agreed with me . So many times I had met with rain but there were at most , 30 of these things in the entire house .
And this 3 pictures don't even show you the actual situation since they'd already been swept the first round and this only show the ones on the floor and not those flying around , but there were like 100++ outside , 50++ in the porch , 50++ in living room 1, 50++ in living room 2, 100++ in the kitchen approximately .Everytime after sweeping them away , 100++ more fly back in to replace the previous batch . And I am not even exaggerating , my fourth uncle was saying that he estimated that there were around 1000+ that night . And they are ALL OVER THE FLOOR , getting from one end to another is like avoiding mines , we couldn't even eat in peace and kept dodging around .  So we all kept taking turns to sweep them out or  to one side. Especially us Singaporeans who are more wimpy so we just kept dancing around all night ROFL . My hair is standing just from typing this paragraph , eewww .
And because they fly to the light , we were desperate to switch off the lights and close the doors but we can't because buffet party , oh gosh . so we just off-ed second living room light and retreated there which was alil hilarious since the hosts were all hiding and left the guests outside . HAHAHHA , not like they cared anyway .

You couldn't even tell fifth uncle was the main of the party , I had never seen anyone else more awkward and less able to socialize than him , seriously . He was like just holding his cup by the door so I went up to him and said , "Come xiaojiu , let's go walk around and talktalk with the guests tgt." And he just laughed and say he nothing to chat about and walk back inside , wth jiu srs smh ROFL . Actually a little proud of the fact that all my uncles , except for my second uncle , can't drink at all . I know it's a weird thing to be proud of but it really shows the type of upbringing they had, no one n the family smokes too! (except fourth aunt's husband and one cousin smokes shisha?) Second uncle's wife as usual was like the host and all her friend came over to drink and they asked xiaojiu to drink too and he just awkwardly stood there not knowing what to do . But one of the 表uncle went to save him HAHAHAH . and beer bottles smells like armpits im not even kidding you right now . Because second uncle's wife asked me to help keep the empty bottles and after helping , my hands smelled like freaking armpits , I'm serious . No this is not a laughing matter , I was so annoyed and even soap didn't help . Everyone (drunkards) finally left at 1/2am and finally sleeping time ~

Woke up at 7.30am to bath , make up and put contacts !



Only kiddo who tagged along and yay , ANGPAO ! Okay la , but since not sgd so I also no feel when getting it since my expenses in Singapore is always $0 . (This is one reason why I hate telling people Iam going msia because I feel like everyone secretly expects souvenirs but wth, I either stay at home all day or just go to pasarmalams/village market place . So I'm regretting telling people that I'm going to Myanmar since it's a volunteering trip and I doubt I'm able to get anything there . Stresssssss)
And even after having a trial with eyeliner, I back out of drawing on my upper lids again because I still am a wimp who is scared of screwing it up . 

It was raining yet again when we reach the bride's house and they weren't ready yet , so to get the open door shot , I had to stand in the rain in the middle of the road -.- gentleman-ly cousin immediately go get umbrella to stand beside , yay thanks weiqiang kor!
They finally pities us and let us go in to the porch first , then finally , time for gatecrashing~

Jiujiu was good in predicting that it will probably be pretty lame . In fact this is the second lame one I had gone to , because normally if the couple is older , the gatecrash will be less wild and more mild .
So, laladeeda, can we just go back already because Idk what to say about it and all photos are in my uncle's cam anyway. Okay, the "challenges" were, blow balloon , write name (idk whats the challenge in that tho) , pick dates? out of water with chopstick,  then put lipstick kiss letter then read it out loudly. Yup , told you it was lame . Reminded me of how wild my neighbour's one was HAHAH . So I came to avoid the bugs but ended up they were all over the place since the village area were surrounded by tons of forests . Also , they joked about how I had to do the challenges with them cause I'm part of the xiongdi gang , NO GO AWAY

Headed back home , talked about grandpa's accident with uncle . It was a freak accident where he was driving back home and just around 1km? away from the house , this lorry which was carrying steel pipes and going in the other direction , drove one of it's wheels into a pothole , the whole lorry tilted and landed on my grandpa . I mean srs how more suey can you get , to be at that position at that time .. And just about to reach home too . 

Once the first car started approaching , weiyi set the firecrackers before running back to the kitchen , because traditions , groom family not supposed to be out until they entered the room . Except me , cause I boss (; Nah , because I came with them duh . Okay , nothing much again . Family photos , drink tangyuan then get ready to set out for wedding lunch !

Took uncle (neighbour) car because we had too many people .
No idea why everyone keeps rushing since there was nobody when we reach . Okay fine , I know the hosts are supposed to be there first blahblah but believe me , no one really gives a shit . So because we had nothing to do , Sat at the reception table and ask everyone to sign when they walk in!
Was bored so of course , SELFIE TIME.



Anyway , apparently , they didn't know that the vegetarian table was part of the host family , miscomm or something so we got thrown to the back , super mad I tell you , we had front row tables for fourth uncle's wedding pls -.-
But still , the food was great ! and meanwhile , the rest complaining about their food again ROFL .
tbh , weddings are all the same old so I have nothing to say . Oh and going to Malaysia raises my confidence and my courage by two times because during the yamseng segment I was all ready to go up stage and take the mic to lead everyone . HAHAH influence of weiyi, cheryao and cheryan .

Third aunt and fourth aunt fam went home straight after the event , big uncle and big aunt family (except her) went back at night . So it suddenly became really quiet and peaceful again . Had a lot of night chats , and I'm starting to like my new aunt already ! :D

Back to boring Singapore on Monday . And y'know what ? we saw the exact same thing me and jiu were talking about on the bus home .
Like BAM
