The disgusting block test is over and I'm not really sure if I have much reason to celebrate about . Totally didn't give it my best shot but regrets always come a step late so I shall look forward and push myself harder for the next exam ! Not expecting anything , results prolly gonna be smth like eesuu or smth close .

Oh well , no point crying over split milk , shall write about odac camp 2013 instead !
This was one camp that i've been dreading since the start of th year , just the thought of sleeping in tents , cold water when showering , endless pts and running games just make me want to crouch in a corner and have a good cry about my life . But of course , predictable xinhui enjoyed th camp after all ! In fact , it was so fun I dont even mind an extra day :p okay on second thought , no i miss my bed like hell thankyou for the offer .
> Oh and one very impt thing , really admire camp exco perseverance and hardwork for this camp really ! Imagine everyone studying hard , tweeting about how they can't finish revising all th topics they want for gps while the excos were worrying and tweeting about how they're still chionging the last proposal . :/ And especially when you're in odac , you're faced with some of the most demanding and picky teachers who kept throwing last-min surprises at you , I'm impressed that nobody flipped table(okay wait , i think they did) and send in their resignation letters or smth man , YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME PEOPLE :-* <

Day 1


After GP , celeb of Marcus's bday in canteen and had phys supp , the class went off to watch a movie at nex i think and abandoned me in school ): And stupid Bernie decided to pon first day of camp to pei them too , booooo make me jelly I dont have the guts to do it D}: And the dumbest thing was that early in the morning , I left my phone with all the camp things locked up in the pe dept room so I couldn't even call the guys to see where they were . So feeling emo and shitz , I walked sadly to the canteen , thinking about my sad life but yay ! Weikheong was in th canteen ! SAVIOUR !!!!! heheh , so glad to find company at this kind of time man .

Finally assembled at 5pm with th J1s ! Sharks unite ! Eunice wasn't able to make it cause she was ill . And side info , we used to be called Marlin until Guodong argued that it wasn't cool enough , uhmokay .
Wasn't feeling well and was super nauseous but luckily it passed in ten mins .
I dont really remembered what we did after assembling , was it straight to tent pitching ?  Stood around likea boss while the poor j1s pitch the tent . Sharks' J1s were comprised mainly of ex UG members so we were super speedy and skillful for most events , yay ! Slack and talked abit until it was dinnertime ! Hahah , some guy (i forgot his name suddenly x.x) came out with a hungry shark cheer and we trying to be AA shout it in front of th others , hahah !

Bath at the tennis court toilets and we were lucky to escape the crowd with th trug girls . And a round of applause to viv who bath in record timing ! Pearl and I are very proud of you really (':
Supper at canteen and by right , J2s were to do 2hours each of sentry duties by marine groups . We were all jokingly saying that we should either all pon sentry and pretend to be logs when the previous group wake us or just sabo idiot and let him do duty himself .
And surprisesurprise , due to miscomm ......SHARK REALLY PONNED SENTRY DUTY .
Sorry la , guilty max can ! Dolphin who was before us split their duty between girls and guys so the girls got the first shift and couldn't wake us . So I heard that zhixue only woke gd up but he opened his eyes , look at zx aand went back to sleep or smth , but whatev the story is , shark pon jiu dui le . x.x This is what you get when you put a group of pigs tgt under one group , sigh .
Had an awful stomachache through th night and didn't sleep well anyway ): Hopefully this will be th last time using this pathetically thin sleeping bag ! Won the sleeping bag from an amazing race with manyun's family which I'm grateful for cause I no need to spend any money for but yet it's really thin and you're practically sleeping on the cold hard floor .

Day 2

Woke up and while the rest did their pts , station masters of the first shift plus weikheong and praveen had our breakfast earlier cause we had to set off to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and the Park connector network beside first to prepare our stations . Kind edmund help me carry my heavy ass 1.5L water , thankyou so much !! Was one of the 3 located at BTNR and praveen had to show us where our stations were located . But at a junction , he pangseh me and asked me to walk up to th summit myself cause he wanted to lead the two boys to their locations instead . WHATTTTTTTT . Never ever offend ANDSS guys , they are all about revenge man , hmpt .
people were shooting weird glances at this weird girl reading her chem notes alone at the summit . Okay or rather , this weird girl TRYING to read her notes cause I was more distracted by th beautiful mother nature . I think I can identify the different type of insects who lives on this tree at th summit of BTNR liao , everytime there is just the slightest hint of a breeze , some insect will drop down on me , my notes or my bag . GRRRR , so I spent most of my 2 hours swiping off insects and looking at them .  Dolphin and Blue whale finally came and finish up their station . And I sincerely apologise for our failed station 3 cause i thought of it on th spot okay x.x sorry that's its so lame and predictable .

I super suey i tell you . For th first shift , Sharks were at PCN while I'm station master at BTNR . So shift 2 when I joined them , I had to go back to BTNR -.- So I had to climb BTNR thrice , first for my station , then to show jiahui who was taking over me the location and then again with sharks . Sigh , and PCN was th fun part but I didn't even see it . At least I didn't get much of the sun unlike Pearl and Edmund who had a proper burning session with nice scenery at th railway tracks :p (tempted to insert P's unglam here but no , I treasure my life)
Headed back to school and didn't really get to sleep much on the bus . But it's okay cause me and viv made up for it after we reached school :p


Okay , I'm aware that my eyes are open in this photo but I really did had a good sleep ! Not sure how long we slept , poor pearl was just sitting there trying to entertain herself while we were being pigs . The other group finally arrived and we headed down to th canteen for flag making !


Celeb weikheong's bday halfway through , I'm so sorry you had to walk one hour on your bday just to buy me lunch ! thankyou so much and hope he was surprised ! (: Okay probably not cause we were super lousy with our acting , Prabu was like holding up a newspaper while he walked , trying in vain to hide th cake but it's alright , still had fun !
Went to classroom AGAIN cause we were bored shit and only came down when it's dinnertime ! After typing all this , I just realised how ass the three of us were , srsly .
Poor J2s didn't had much to eat and some didn't even get to eat . Helped idiot to chiong out logs for the rm night race and then proceeded to hide the bonus envelopes with jiahui and edmund around the campus ! Cause I was too tired to run and I guess they were being lazy too hahah idk . Wrong idea for us three to be tgt cause no. 1 , we were all wimps who didn't dare to hide the clues at dark places like th fifth floor or even at the paradesquare which was so open , HAHHAAH . no. 2 , we happened to be all from sharks and so , when sharks managed to find a lot of envelopes , looked like we scheme or cheated when we didn't okay ! Actually , it was a good thing that we didn't hide it in dark places cause odac-ians are like blind i tell you , so obvs also can't see one ! The envelopes either contained "Instant death" or "Immunity" which they didn't know but this doesn't really matter since they didn't find alot of it until we changed some of the locations to totally obvious places like right in the middle of th steps or atrium before they found it . Received loads of appeals to revive people who swear their chains broke by themselves but most of them were rejected and they became the undead pretending to be alive and chasing random pairs . Got some super funny moments such as self kill when same group shark scare p and v such that they jump apart and break their paper chain , praveen chain mysteriously slipping out unbroken even though th chain is smaller than his fist , and weiming - yongler pair mistakenly (or not) chasing after J1 trug girls thinking that they were odacian and then selfkill when they got scare by praveen and ben i think who were actually dead pretending to be alive / undead . Game ended on a bad note tho when someone opened a instant death without admitting . Nevertheless , exciting game which made me laugh so much through the night ! :{D
Bathed and waited for our sentry duties which was luckily for the first shift this time round . And we did sentry for half an hour extra to pay back to the other groups !


Wasn't praveen and ben's duty but they came down cause they couldn't sleep so we had mad fun playing cards ! Bridge and daidee , I'm totally good at guessing who is whose partner but super bad at keeping this info BWAHAHAHAHHA . Pearl's prediction totally came true , "I can foresee the second day we will be so sleep deprived that we will sot diao like keep laughing . Can imagine you laughing to yourself on the top of the hill for no reason omg -.-"
Didn't laugh on th top of th hill cause I was too angrily swatting insects away but I certainly made up for it during sentry :p Praveen they all super buey tahan but cannot la , really too siao liao . My poker face so super bad , Jiahui just need to say like , "eh xinhui , I know you got xx card right?" I cfm laugh and give myself away . Then there was that epic moment where Pearlyn called out Viv to be her partner but obvs we didnt know , but dk why , me and jiahui suddenly looked up and caught each other's eyes and we just burst out laughing when we realised we were partners even tho you couldn't tell from the cards we put . Jiahui said it was because the two of us got th same resigned and defeated look hahahah whatevs la . Best time and highlight of th whole camp man , noob edmund and guodong were like sleeping at the fitness corner while we high . Don'tknow if we woke any of the J1s up with our noise . Was all for staying up all night to play but noob Pearlyn and Vivian want to sleep so we went back to the classroom after that .

Day 3

Had pt early in the morning running 2.4 and was superrr dizzy yet again , maybe due to the lack of sleep or smth . Had breakfast after that before our first activity , water games @ the paradesquare !


Instead of taking part in the game , pearlyn , jiahui and me were playing our own game where we soak our feets in water puddles and try to reach the furthest distance using our footprints . Mr Tay was totally looking at us weirdly hahahahah . But because of our game , we got our feet so dirty so we decided to go upstairs to get our slippers and give our feet a good wash !


Unglam us doing our thing cause life is all about the unglam moments no ? I think this was th first time I gave my foot so much care , really is scrub every corner and fold . Slacked in the classroom after that until we got called down for a J2s talk by the teachers .


Tired J2s are tired , no idea who took this photo and how it ended up in 1218 class wa , lucky me and pearlyn unglam sleep wasn't captured too .
Had a debrief after that where Tay praised every single J2 one by one . He had trouble thinking of what i contributed cause I didn't do any specific role but he ended up saying that I helped in everything and left footprints in every activity , wahseh . Pearlyn was like telling me , "I think he talking about th game we were playing just now" HAHAH WHATTT . ANDSS gang immediately say "aiyah , thank you for laughing so much la" / "Thanks for bringing joy to odac"


Group photo ! Dolphin got first two years in a row but nevermind , I believe Shark was the most enthu and hyped group (: They dragged me to the center and insisted that we take pict in front of Vegeland just specially for me , okay thanks i v touched guys -.-

So cchy and andss gang and viv (who's included in our gang ) went for a silent lunch @nex after dismissal cause everyone was dead and emo apart from th girls , their face all copy paste same expression one sia .
Managed to get home relatively fast thanks to idiot's dad who picked us up , thankyou so muchhhhhhh ! :{D
And that concludes the end of odac camp 2013 for me ! Which reminds me that I still have to do my reflections , sigh .
