NYJC Ad Meliora 2013 ~

ORIENTATION WAS SUCHA BLAST !
There's so much to update about , OOCA , dinners , just random chitchats and shitz , I shall try my best to summarize the five days ! (:

Started calling up Jaser7 kids in the LT after OGLs briefing on thursday ! Surprisesurprise , weizhen was on my list ! Had trouble pronouncing some of the names and resorted to calling them all by their chinese names and double confirming every name before calling with yukei . Had one guy who didn't picked up even at 10 (KenZen) and gave up and went to sleep .

ASDHUVNEUDKWOEUFJCNUE9 had to wakeup at the CRACK OF DAWN , at 5.10am and ahlong and me morning called each other . Was half dead and zombified and met up with 18's cuties , sharon , jiaee , marcus , shiyong , weijie at LC mrt before heading to school tgt . Had a mini briefing before getting ready for flashmob ! Th flashmob idea is basically that one OGL from each OG will be wearing his/her sec sch pe attire pretending to be a J1 . After th principal's speech , the emcees' mics will 'spoil' and we suddenly stand to dance th 35th mass dance , cool or cool ? (;
Only cchy-ian J2 in this and felt abit awkward and stupid since people cfm recognise one . And so zhun , I was faking J1 in Chanan 4? i think and that group got Jingyi who knew me since primary school -.- abit spoiler but it's okay cause I successfully scammed th guy sitting beside me x'D and i think Nicholas , the OGL for that group really took me for one of th J1 or smth , LOL . Danced massdance w weijie before going back to find my Jaser7 !


Th J1s were apparently not amused w th flashmob esp J7 , why look so sian !

and this is dear J7 on #nyjcadmeliora01 , when I still didn't know most of their names and we were all being awkward turtles !
Day 1 was mainly admin shitz and had bonding at th mpr playing some bonding games which failed to amuse these kids . Was quite depressed at th low level of J7 initially , had og dinner with only 3 other ogms , HAHAH . But really grateful that the three bothered turning up even tho we were all not close yet with one another !

Arrived in school bright and early again for briefing (same procedure everyday , I shall not keep retyping this shit as intro) and after doing admin stuffs , got ready for OGLs walk-in which we had rehearsed for so long ! Love Jaser's walk-in soso much , super shuai with a tribal theme ! Special mention to Xukai and Waise who spent so many days coming up and perfecting this ! It was awesome and luckily we didn't laukui like the walk-in rehearsal day :p

First mass dance session !



I honestly dont get why everyone keep claiming this year's mass dance is easier ! c'mon , I agree that it's nicer but easier ? Nawwww . J7 all non-dancer , super funny seeing them struggle to dance and argue about whether who is right on th positions ('x

Didn't had much photo to post here but basically had another two rounds of bonding , cheer teaching and college tour w games ! J7 finally opened up a lil more altho not to their max ! But really glad still to see them slowly speaking up ! Had a losing streak with th college games but J7 were all chill people when it comes to things like this (; But we won some games anyway , hellyeah ! Think Jaser got second place at the end of the day and J7 were all saying that if not for us , maybe first already ROFL .


OG dinner yet again with a muchmuch better attendance . actually I forgot what we do for most of th dinners ._. Just mostly crap , laugh and do forfeits basically .

Our daily 1218 group photo ! To me , th best ever part about th whole orientation was not gaining new friends , but realising how much I appreciate this lovely bunch of people . Was chatting with dear Sharon and we both missed 1218 soso much even tho it was just three days . And I'm also reallyreally glad that I've got to know Sharo better after crapping w her , lovess ! Felt so un- taken care of during orientation , which made me realise how 1218 always never fail to make me feel so loved (': touching or what ? -sobsob-


OOCA was on this day ! (: I think ny really super suey , third year in a row that has met with bad weather . This year they decided the change the location from Sentosa to Gardens by the bay - Marina bay sands and Esplanade - Singapore Flyer . So two orientation group went to each location and Jaser and Yosha was assigned to the latter . I really dont get why they decided to split the two groups up or changed the location . Imagine all your friend were at a diff location from you , want go home tgt also hard right . Like very not bond tgt . #personalopinion #justsaying
Due to th rain , J7 only managed to complete two competing stations , two solo stations . But at least the rain offered us the great oppurtunity to bond ! J7 hates bonding games cause as they say , they like to bond intellectually not physically , whatever la they anyhow bomb . They also lazy do cheer somemore , funniest and weirdest og ever HAHAH . But cause they want to do forfeit to get numbers of pretty girls , they decided to save us the torture of thinking of things for them to do and play games !


That boy is Matthew's younger bro and he is doing the J7 clap thought up by matthew ! It's one clap then you tap your chin while saying confident bodoh , LOLOLOL

Best OG dinner even tho it wasn't the one with the highest attendance cause it was the one og dinner where every single one who attended got to bond ! Sat at th esplanade entrance at th dance area open space and just chat for one/two hour plus . Really got to know them better and laugh so much . HAHAH , green since birth and green till death people . Never ever forget this particular dinner (:

First highlight of the day is the 'We have a dream' workshop which reminds me of Ducro's speed dating intro exercise . (no link to pict) Got to learn more about everyone else and J7 got even closer through sharing about their random information and their hilarious jokes . Th guys were playing a fool , asking questions like "Which pokemon will you marry and why" and etc , cannot stand them :p
 

CCA bazaar ! no pict of odac booth so I randomly choose one w an odacian in it ! think that is ahben my partner cause thats th cnny booth .
Had a crazy time persuading J1s to join odac and wandering around w odacians ! Brian was super insensitive when he came to odac booth hahahah , I was all like "eh , you going sign up uh !" Then he said in front of so many odacian "no la ! I thought you tell me not to join !" HAHAHAHAH , I SIAM FARFAR AFTER THAT .
